Mindthemedia ApS, CVR 34466572. Last updated 10 October 2026.
This policy covers the website moooce.com. The data controller is Mindthemedia ApS (CVR 34466572), Jernbanegade 29, st., 6000 Kolding, Denmark – support@moooce.com.
The Moooce products have their own policies: the Shopify app is described in the Shopify app privacy policy, and Moooce Studio in Studio’s own policy.
When you visit the website
Without your consent we use no tracking, and the website loads almost nothing from other companies – fonts, images and videos come from our own server. There are two exceptions.
The first is visitor statistics, and only if you say yes. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Ltd to see how the website is used: which pages are read, where visitors came from (including our ads), the type of device, the language and the approximate location. Google Analytics then sets the cookies listed below, and Google receives your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store. Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you also accept marketing, Google may use the statistics to measure and improve our ads on Google. If you decline, nothing from Google is loaded. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can change or withdraw at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. See Google’s privacy policy.
The second is a video from Vimeo, and only when you press play on it. Until then the page shows a still image from our own server. When you press play, the video is loaded from Vimeo with its “do not track” setting, which tells Vimeo not to set cookies or track the session. Vimeo then receives your IP address and browser details, as any website you open does; see Vimeo’s privacy policy.
The website sets these cookies. The first two are strictly necessary and need no consent; the Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept statistics. Your choice and the time you made it are recorded with a random number – not your IP address – so we can show that you agreed; the record is deleted after 25 months.
| Cookie | What for | Expires | When |
|---|---|---|---|
CRAFT_CSRF_TOKEN | Protects forms against forged submissions | When you close your browser | On pages with a form |
moooce_samtykke | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months | When you choose |
_ga, _ga_GF96XSRM3W | Google Analytics: tells visits apart | 2 years | Only if you accept statistics |
Like any web server, ours records technical details about each request – such as IP address, time and the page asked for – to run and protect the website. The logs are kept by our host for operation and security and are not used to find out who you are.
When you sign up to hear more
| What | Why | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address, your name if you gave it, the product you signed up for, the language of the page | To tell you once that the product is ready | Your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) | Until that message has been sent – then deleted |
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@moooce.com; we then delete your address.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and what you write to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). We keep the correspondence while the matter is open, and longer only where bookkeeping law requires it.
Your Moooce account
When you create a Moooce account – here on the website, or from the Moooce app in your Shopify admin – we store your email address and, if you give it, your name. We use them to let you log in to the Moooce app (we email you a link and a code each time) and to tell you about your account. The legal basis is our agreement with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). The account lives at studio.moooce.com.
We keep the account until you delete it. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account; the account and its connections to your shops are deleted, while the shops and their videos stay with the shops.
The Moooce app for iPhone
The app uses your camera and microphone only when you record a video, and only with your permission. It stores your login session securely on the phone (Keychain) and sends the name of your phone with the login, so you can tell your devices apart. The videos you record are uploaded to your shop’s Moooce account and hosted by Cloudflare Stream. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
